Artistas Hispanos Contemporaneos was a collaborative project between Naples Art and The Immokalee Foundation. This was the first in a two-part lecture series featuring Jonathan Martinez, a multimedia artist based in Immokalee, and Amy Morales, a Miami-based artist working in digital collage.
The discussion focused on their work, artistic journey, and creative contributions to our diverse society. This project is a representation of our commitment to inclusivity through celebration of the Hispanic culture that is an influential part of our collective community.
This initiative is part of Naples Art's ‘artEQuity Project’ generously funded by the Collier Community Foundation. The project is modeled after successful community activism projects around the country where tangible actions shift the paradigm of social inequity through employment, education, and art experiences that engage audiences in developing their "EQ," Equity Quotient.
