Ketty Rodríguez Quevedo
Artist in Residence
December 1, 2025 - February 28, 2026
Ketty Rodríguez Quevedo is a painter whose work moves through poetic symbolism and intuitive, personal exploration. Her artistic formation began at the prestigious San Alejandro National Academy of Fine Arts, and continued at The University of the Arts (ISA) in Havana, where she graduated with honors. Her practice has been shaped by numerous solo and group exhibitions across Cuba, the United States, and Europe. In 2016, she was selected for a residency at the Vermont Studio Center, a competitive program that supports emerging voices in contemporary art, and began exhibiting her work in the United States that same year.
Her work is recognized for its strength and sensitivity, qualities that have drawn attention from established artists, including Frank Stella, who offered an impromptu studio talk during a visit to Havana after viewing her work.
