Art in the Park?

The Naples Art Association proudly connects artists with art shoppers in another terrific season of Art in the Park. Since 1957 Art in the Park has remained the monthly members show showcasing the talents of our member artists. Believed to be the first outdoor art show held in Naples, Art in the Park carries on the tradition of providing our community access to the very creative fine art and craftwork of our member artists. The Naples Art Association is proud to host this juried art show held on the first Saturday of each month from November through April, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Artists Requirements

Art in the Park is an opportunity that provides artists a venue to sell and market their work while broadening their customer base. It also provides a setting for artists to interact with other artists sharing ideas, industry changes and the camaraderie of creative people. It is an opportunity for both artists and the public to engage in enlightening conversations about art.

 

To participate, a new artist must jury in and work must be accepted.
And artist must also be an Artist Guild or higher level donor of the
Naples Art Association.

The Naples Art Association recently announced the recipients of the National Art Encounter Competition 2017 & the Maximizing the Minimum exhibition at a preview reception.

The National Art Encounter Competition is a national juried exhibition featuring recent work in all media by artists from across the United States that is on view March 17 through April 15.
RECIPIENTS:
$1,000 Best of Show: Renee Rey for 2 He and Sustaining
$800 First Place: Helier Batista for The Maze
$600 Second Place: Álvaro De Jesús for Universe of Babel
$400 Jurors’ Choice Award: Jeff Whipple for I Need No Orders!
$200 Award of Merit: John Long for Time is Square
$200 Award of Merit: Laurent Dareau for The Night Watch
