The Annual Summer Arts Studies for Children and Teens

ARTScool is a summer youth art studies program held from June 2 - August 1, 2008 at The von Liebig Art Center. Courses are three hours long and run Monday through Friday in drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, and photography. During a course of study, young students are immersed in art technique, criticism, art history, and appreciation. Professional artists, certified art instructors, museum staff, and student interns all add their expertise to create a dynamic learning experience. Classes are held in six different art studios and are complemented with inquiry-based tours of the art exhibits each week.

Want to spend part of your day in the Theatre Arts?
Available to participants who have completed Kindergarten through grade 11

Call our summer program partner, KidzAct, to learn about productions, theatre camps and workshops in theatre arts offered at the Sugden Community Theatre.  For KidzAct information:  call 434-7340, ext 0 or, learn more on-line at www.naplesplayers.org, at the KidzAct link.  A supervised walk and lunch (students provide their lunch) is made available through KidzAct for $10 per week.  (no charge for scholarship students)KidzAct scholarships are available for all KidzAct programs
