ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
Many of the dresses in the exhibition were purchased at the Christie’s auction Diana held just weeks before her untimely death. At least two of the dresses and some of the memorabilia have never been exhibited in the United States, including a Klondike dress Diana wore on a State Visit to Canada with Prince Charles and Diana’s entire signed Christmas Card collection of cards she sent. The dresses include a cocktail dress owned by People magazine and four dresses owned by WE tv, all of which are rarely shown in public. The exhibition also includes signed photographs, gifts Diana gave and memorabilia from other Royals including Queen Elizabeth II, the Queen Mother and Prince Charles.
The exhibition is made possible through the generosity of the Pink Ribbons Crusade, a group of Diana dress and memorabilia owners who lent their items for the show.

ABOUT EXHIBITION TICKETS
Admission to the exhibition is $12 for non-members, $10 for members and pre-arranged group tours, and $5 for children under 10. To give everyone an opportunity to view the exhibition, timed tickets will be sold for the following time slots: Daily except Tuesdays at 10 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m., and Tuesdays at 12:30 p.m., 3 p.m., and 5:30 p.m.
Group “Tuesday Tea” tours are offered in conjunction with Brambles Tea Room and the Jolly Cricket for groups of 10 or more. Call 239-262-6517 to arrange a group tour with or without tea service. Reservations must be made in advance.

"Dine Like Royalty" - June 27. Join The von Liebig Art Center, e’Bella Magazine for Women and Coldwell Banker realtor Marianna Foggin for a special “Dine Like Royalty” event at the Hilton Naples to close the art center’s Princess Diana: Dresses of Inspiration exhibition on Sunday, June 27. Darren McGrady, former Senior Chef at Buckingham Palace and Princess Diana’s personal chef, along with the Hilton Naples and Shula’s Steakhouse Culinary Team, will prepare and serve an elegant six-course wine and dining experience featuring recipes from McGrady’s cookbook “Eating Royally: Recipes and Remembrances from a Palace Kitchen.” The event starts with a Champagne reception at 6 p.m., and a sommelier will present each wine with the various courses. McGrady will prepare two of the courses and be shown via live video feed from a prep area displayed on large screens, so all guests may see and hear him. While cooking, he will share his amusing insights as a royal chef. In addition, Richard Dalton, who was Diana’s exclusive hairdresser for 10 years, will share his insights about the Princess. Dalton, who met a 17-year-old Lady Diana while he was the hairdresser for her sisters Lady Jane and Lady Sarah, cut and styled her hair almost daily for nearly 12 years after Diana married. He also gave Prince William and Prince Harry their first haircuts—and continued to cut their hair for many years. Tickets are $150 per person or $225 for VIP seating at three tables of eight (six seats available for the table buyer) headed by McGrady, Dalton, and Suzanne and Jess King, who own six of the Diana dresses in the art center’s exhibition and most of the memorabilia on display. Entries must be made by June 22, 2010, for drawings taking place on Dave Elliott’s WGUF radio show on June 16, 23 and 24. ABOUT THE CHARITY BENEFICIARIES
This exhibition of the “world’s most photographed woman” is not a traveling show but instead is being created just for The von Liebig Art Center. It honors the historical importance of her journey from royal princess to humanitarian by telling a story through the dresses worn by the late Princess to commemorative, social and charitable functions. As a way to honor Princess Diana’s legacy of giving, a portion of the ticket sales from this exhibition will be distributed by the Pink Ribbon Crusade, a charitable organization formed by several of the dress owners that supports women with breast cancer, for distribution to local women with breast cancer affiliated with Bosom Buddies Breast Cancer Support, Inc. and the NCH Mammogram Fund.
