Art in the Park started in 1957. Believed to be the first outdoor art show held in  Naples, Art in the Park was first held on the tennis courts in Cambier Park. In that much simpler time artists just signed up and showed up.  Then a show chair was made responsible and Art in the Park became a structured art show. After many location moves through its years, it found its home on Park Street alongside The von Liebig Art Center.  The Naples Art Association hosts this juried outdoor art show which is held on the first Saturday of each month from November through April. The show hours are 10 am until 4 pm.  

Requirements:

 Art in the Park is a membership opportunity and provides a member artist a venue to sell and market their work while broadening their customer base. It also provides a setting for artists to interact with other artists sharing ideas, industry changes and the camaraderie of creative people. It is an opportunity for artists to engage in conversation with the public furthering their knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the talents of our member artists. Each participant is required to: 

• be a member of the Naples Art Association in good standing 
• present their work to a jury panel for evaluation and acceptance prior to participation
• abide by all show rules and requirements
