Coconut Point Co-op Gallery

The Art Council of Southwest Florida Co-op Art Gallery at Coconut Point Mall will remain open during the summer and fall season. This is another great opportunity for all of the Art Council of Southwest Florida member artists (If you are a member of the Naples Art Association, you're eligible!) to take advantage of the gallery and the potential for summer sales.

Gallery Hours and Location

The gallery will be open Thursday through Sunday, with the same hours as we now have- Thursday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Fridays 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. The gallery space is located between Panera Bread and World Market at the Coconut Point Mall.

Your chance to participate!

We invite you to take advantage of the Gallery to display and sell your artwork. Receiving for May is Monday, May 6, from 10 a.m. to 1p.m. Our artist reception will be held on Friday, May 10, from 5 to 7pm.

Some important changes and reminders for the summer months:

1. Up to 4 pieces of wall hung and 4 pieces of 3d artwork will be accepted per artist. In addition, either 4 matted and wrapped prints or 4 smaller (able to fit in display case) pieces of 3d artwork will be accepted. For jewelry artists, this means 4 larger such as necklaces or sets and 4 smaller such as earrings will be acceptable.
2. The maximum size allowed for wall hung work is 1800 square inches. Anything over that size will be considered as 2 items.
3. Giclees or prints will be accepted in any combination of the 4 pieces of wall hung work. They must be matted and framed and ready to hang or gallery wrapped and ready to hang. All such prints/giclees MUST be labeled as such and will be hung and displayed separately from original artwork. Size restrictions are the same as for original art.
4. Unsold work must be changed out every 60 days.
5. All artwork is to remain in the gallery until sold or rotated out on designated receiving days.
6. Entry fees of $15 per month MUST be paid in advance for those artists who have committed for the next 6 months. For those artists who will be participating on a month to month availability basis, entry fees may be paid on receiving day for that month.
7. GALLERY SITTING is still a requirement!
8. A 30% commission applies to all sales.
9. Receiving days will continue to be on the 1st Monday of each month, with the artist receptions following on the 1st Friday of the month.
10. All artwork will be juried. No exceptions.

Please write legibly. New artists: your artist number will be assigned to you at receiving.

The updated prospectus, with complete and detailed information regarding acceptable artwork, entrance fees and commissions, will be available on the Art Council website at the end of the month. It is your responsibility to read and comply with all conditions.
