Southwest Florida Fine Craft Guild Presents Art Attack

The Naples Art Association hosts The Southwest Florida Fine Craft Guild’s exhibition, Art Attack. Receiving is September 9, 2015 from 10am until 1pm. This exhibit is open to members in good standing of the Southwest Florida Fine Craft Guild, i.e., those who have fulfilled participation requirements and paid their 2014 dues. You may join the Guild at any time prior to Receiving or during Receiving. Calendar year 2015 dues are $35. Participation requirements also include volunteering or signing up to volunteer with the Guild prior to Receiving. Naples Charity Register Cover Competition

You are invited to submit your work for the second annual Naples Charity Register Cover Competition. We are looking for original works that convey the concept of philanthropy, community, sharing or charitable giving. The winning image of the Charity Register Cover Competition will be published on the front cover of the 2015-16 edition of the Naples Charity Register. A brief story on and photo of the artist will appear inside the magazine, and this year’s winner will be awarded a $500 cash prize.

Become a Vendor at the Inaugural SWFL Sustainability Summit!

Education is a vital to understand sustainable and STEM based practices in the workplace. Businesses and non-profits that utilize these methods are more likely to reduce their overall costs, environmental footprint, and foster stable employment in an ever-growing industry. Vendors who participate in the Southwest Florida Sustainability Summit will be able to promote and educate local business and civic leaders in our community on how to incorporate sustainable business plans and practices. Valuable exposure, product sales, and networking are all benefits to vendors participating in the 2015 Summit. A registration fee is collected to reserve your space – all proceeds raised from vendor registration will be donated to the Imaginarium Science Center to promote science and technology education for youth. To register as a vendor please complete and return the SWFL Sustainability Summit Sponsor and Vendor Package.

Evenings on Fifth

Fifth Avenue South and Naples Art Association are looking for demonstration artists for Evenings on Fifth in March and May. Evening on Fifth is an evening of live music, shopping, dining, and dancing on fabulous 5th Avenue South. Events are on March 12 & May 7, 2015 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and will be held along 5th Avenue South in Downtown Naples. Artists will need to be set-up by 5:30 p.m. and should bring their own equipment. Ideally, artists would demonstrate or provide an interactive experience. Lighting and a location will be provided. SWFL Community Foundation in partnership with the Art Council of SWFL 2014-2015 Art Exhibition

In collaboration with the Southwest Florida Community Foundation, the Art Council of Southwest Florida is again able to present a continued venue opportunity for all ACSWF member organizations.
Located at 8771 College Parkway, Building 2, Suite 201, the offices of the SWFLCF include a large conference room, a long corridor, and small rooms at the front and back entry ways which would be available for art exhibits and shows.

Art Council of Southwest Florida

Members of the Naples Art Association are eligible for a host of opportunities through the NAA’s affiliation with the Art Council of Southwest Florida. All members of Art Council of Southwest Florida’s member organizations are eligible for benefits including exhibition opportunities. There are 19 available opportunities including Spring Show 2014 and the Coconut Point Co-op Gallery. Other opportunities include workshops, art classes, and special art related trips at reduced rates.
